Zoo Day!

A few weeks ago we went to the Zoo in Gulf Breeze, FL for Asher's second time visiting the zoo. The first time was for his 2nd birthday at a different zoo. We had a lot of fun just spending time together as a family. Asher was making us laugh when he would go up to a cage and say, "Hey buddy" and after we would be done he would wave and say, "Bye buddy". All in all we had a great time! :)

It's Been A While....

Yes, it has definitely been a while since I posted a new blog...(sorry Em)...:) A lot has been going on since my last blog. I am currently 22 weeks along now. So happy I am out of that "dreaded 1st trimester"! I think that is what they should technically name it. I had a problem with my placenta being in the wrong place, but at my last visit it moved where it should be! Thank you, Father!

I was having a hard time with naming our baby...again. I had a hard time with Asher too. So, I gave up trying and gave it to the man of the house ALMOST completely! haha! Colt said the name Canaan. I said it aloud a few times, then absolutely fell in love with it! Colt also came up with his middle name Everette. This was only a few days before we were to find out and I couldn't go in with not knowing what his name would be. I feel that names are very important. Our words have power and we are speaking out things ALL the time in the spiritual realm. And I feel that when I am calling out my children's names that I want to be speaking something over them. "Asher" in the Hebrew means "Blessed" and "Happy". Canaan in the Hebrew means "spiritual leanings" and we always want him to lean on his Heavenly Father for everything! Colt also came up with his middle name, "Everett" which means "strong". It's been really cool seeing him on the 4D ultrasound. It's still too early to tell what he looks like, but he likes to suck his hand like Asher did :) His due date is June 30th.

Asher is doing fantastic! He's growing and maturing so fast. It's so fun having "conversations" with him. And he is SO funny to watch! He LOVES singing, playing instruments, dancing, and painting. We've been thinking about putting him in this toddler music class that a local dance and music studio offer...should be interesting! :) Sorry this pic was taken with my phone :)
